Reordering Memorial Cards

If we designed and printed your original memorial cards, ordering additional copies is normally very simple.

There is no need to send us all your photographs, verses and wording again. Simply contact us with the name of the person whose memorial card was produced and, once we locate the original artwork, we can prepare the additional cards for you.

You are not restricted to reproducing the original memorial card exactly as it was.

Your existing design can be adapted with suitable anniversary wording while retaining the original photograph, colours and overall appearance.

Can I Order Memorial Cards Again Years Later?

If we still hold your original artwork, we can use it as the starting point for your new order.

Contact us with the name of the deceased and any other details you have about the original order. We can then check our records and confirm whether the artwork is available.

We would always recommend checking with us rather than assuming an older design is still held on file.

What If Another Company Printed the Original Memorial Cards?

You can still contact Eternal Memorial Cards.

If the original cards were produced elsewhere, we will not have the original artwork, so technically this is a new design rather than a reprint.

If you have an original memorial card, send us a clear photograph or scan together with the original photograph of your loved one where available.

Our designer can then create a new memorial card inspired by the appearance of the previous card while working from the material you provide.

We will not claim that a recreated card will be an exact reproduction where we do not have the original artwork, fonts or image files. You will receive a proof to check before anything is printed.

What If I Cannot Find the Original Photograph?

Contact us before worrying about starting again.

If Eternal Memorial Cards produced the original memorial card and the required files remain with the saved artwork, we may already have what is needed to prepare your reprint.

We can check the original order first and let you know what, if anything, needs to be supplied again.

Can I Order a Different Type of Memorial Keepsake?

Yes. You do not necessarily have to reorder the same product.

For example, if you originally ordered traditional folded memorial cards, you may later decide that you would also like memorial bookmarks or wallet cards for family members.

The photograph, dates, verse and other details from the original design can help us prepare the additional memorial keepsake, although the layout will need to be adapted for the different size and format.

How Long Do Memorial Card Reprints Take?

The timescale depends on the changes required and the current production schedule.

A straightforward reprint using existing artwork will generally involve less design work than creating a completely new memorial card.

If you need additional cards for a particular Mass, anniversary or family occasion, tell us the date when contacting us. We can then confirm the available timescale rather than promising a delivery date that may not be achievable.

Do I Get to Check the Reprint Before Printing?
