Eternal Memorial Cards: Let Our Family Take Care of Yours
At a difficult time, choosing memorial cards is not just another task on a list. It is something personal. It is a way of gathering memories, choosing the right words, selecting a photograph, and creating something that family and friends will keep for years.
At Eternal Memorial Cards, we understand that.
We are a female led Irish family business, built on generations of experience in print, design and customer care. Our work is not simply about producing cards. It is about helping families create a lasting tribute to someone they love.
A family story rooted in print
The story of Eternal Memorial Cards is closely connected to the long tradition of family printing. It began when traditional printing was a craft with letterpress and cast letters even then, careful design and the importance of producing something that would stand the test of time was very important.
For many years, memorial cards were printed in a very traditional way. Older printing methods, including Heidelberg presses and letterpress work, gave printed pieces a weight, texture and character that people remembered. That background shaped the values behind Eternal Memorial Cards today.
Those values are still at the centre of the business.
Care. Detail. Respect. Quality. And an understanding that every order matters to the family placing it.
Continuing the family tradition
Nicola grew up around print and design, seeing first hand the care that went into creating memorial cards for grieving families. Over time, she brought her own creative eye, design experience and personal approach to the family business with an degree in Graphic Design starting in UCD and finishing with a masters in visual studies, technology, and digital media from Trinity College .
Today, Nicola continues that tradition started by her father with a modern online service, while keeping the same careful attention to detail that families expect from a trusted Irish printer.
That balance is important.
Families now want the convenience of ordering online, uploading photographs, reviewing proofs and arranging delivery without unnecessary stress. But they still want the finished memorial cards to feel personal, respectful and beautifully made.
That is what we aim to provide.
More than a printed card
A memorial card is more than paper and ink.
It may include a favourite photograph, a prayer, a poem, a verse, a date, a place, or a few carefully chosen words that capture something of the person’s life. For some families, it is traditional and religious. For others, it is simple, modern or non religious. Every family is different, and every life remembered deserves care.
Memorial cards are often sent between three and twelve months after a funeral. That timing can be very meaningful. The first few weeks after a death can pass in a blur, with arrangements, visitors and practical decisions. Later, when things become quieter, families often begin to think about a more lasting tribute.
Receiving a printed memorial card through the letterbox can mean a great deal. In a time when so much communication is digital, a carefully printed card feels thoughtful, personal and lasting. It is something that can be placed in a prayer book, kept in a wallet, framed, or stored safely with family keepsakes.
Designed with care
At Eternal Memorial Cards, we create a wide range of printed memorial keepsakes, including memorial cards, bookmarks, wallet cards, acknowledgement cards, luxury memorial cards and lifetime cards with photographs.
Each order is handled carefully from start to finish. Families can choose a design, send photographs and wording, and receive a proof before printing. This gives time to check names, dates, verses and photographs properly before the cards are produced.
That proofing stage matters. At a sensitive time, small details are very important.
Our aim is to make the process simple and respectful, while still giving families the reassurance that their cards are being prepared with proper care.
Serving families across Ireland and abroad
Although Eternal Memorial Cards has strong roots in Dublin, our online memorial card service now helps families throughout Ireland, from Kerry to Antrim, from Dublin to Galway, and everywhere in between.
We also regularly send memorial cards to families in the UK, as well as to relatives further abroad, including Australia and the United States.
This reflects how families live today. Loved ones may be spread across different counties and countries, but the wish to remember remains the same. A printed memorial card helps bring those memories together in a simple and lasting way.
Let our family take care of yours
When a family orders memorial cards, they are trusting us with something precious. They are trusting us with photographs, memories, names and words that matter deeply.
We do not take that lightly.
As a female led Irish family business, Eternal Memorial Cards is here to make the process easier, calmer and more personal. From the first order to the finished cards arriving through the letterbox, our role is to help you create a memorial that feels right for your loved one and your family.
Because a memorial card is not just something to send.
It is something to keep.
It is a small, lasting reminder of a life remembered with love.
